Our students in primarily year 9 will take part in a language-competition called “Språkolympiaden”. It’s a nationwide competition and last year there were 7000 students participating. First there is a qualification on the internet and the five best schools in the region go to the region-finals in Härnösand. Last year the students in Spanish, French and German all qualified for that. The team in French did excellently and won and went to the finals in Malmö. 

The questions concern culture, geography, vocabulary and grammar which demand a wide knowledge of the language.
